BBC Girl Talk is a very popular weekly girls' magazine from the UK with features on fashion, trends, music, films and friendship. 

 

 

A really well known weekly children's magazine comic from Scotland featuring well known, funny characters.

 

 

A bi-monthly UK magazine filled great art, craft and cookery ideas to make often with a seasonal theme.

 

 

A very interesting monthly magazine from Australia for Primary, D Mag features reports on a huge variety of topics and reviews on the latest games, books, films and music.

 

 J'aime lire is a great monthly story magazine from France, always very popular. 

 

  

 A monthly French language magazine for primary readers with an accompanying CD to listen to.  Apart from the main story, Mes premiers j'aime lire contains other short stories and comics. 

 

 

 The UK edition of the multi-award winning monthly American magazine, Kids, about everything you could imagine.  The US edition is available in the Showa Library.

  

 

 

Leo Leo is a Spanish monthly magazine with stories, games, puzzles and ineresting stories.

 

 

A very popular weekly football magazine from the UK, Match! available in both Shibuya and Showa.  

 

 

 A monthly magazine from the Netherlands in Dutch.  Taptoe is filled with stories, games, puzzles, comics and lots more.

 

PTA Magazines for the Parents

 

 

The ever popular Australian Women's Weekly arrives here once a month and is loved by many.  We also have the Women's Weekly cookery books in both the Shibuya and the Showa Libraries.

 

 

 

A very popular cookery magazine from the BBC in London featuring recipes from Britain's top chefs as seen on the BBC television programmes.

 

 

 

Another very popular cookery magazine, this time from Australia where simple ingredients are seen as being the best by Donna Hay.  This magazine comes out every other month with a special Kids' edtion in July every year. 

 

 

 

 

The UK edition of the popular women's magazine that comes every month from London.

 

 

 

North and South is a monthly magazine for "Thinking New Zealand".  This great magazine is filled with current events, news, views and reviews from the Land of the Long White Cloud plus mouth water recipes and great features on a whole range of other issues.

 

 

 

OK! is the most read of all the PTA magazines in the Shibuya Library by both parents and staff.  Keep in touch with the latest gossip and celebrity news from the UK!  Excellent when preparing for quiz nights!

 

 

 

Another popular monthly magazine from the UK, we lend many copies of Red out over the weekends at the Coffee Mornings.

 

 

 

Our newest addition to the PTA magazines comes from Singapore, Simply Her.  The monthly magazine has much to offer not just to Singaporean and South East Asian women but to a wider audience too!
